Tapton Park Golf Club was established in 1934 and has four thriving sections; men’s, seniors, ladies and juniors with over 400 members. New members are always welcome.
At over 6,000 yards, the par 72, 18 hole Markham Course provides a true test of golf. Located in a parkland setting the undulating terrain provides views across Chesterfield including the famous ‘Crooked Spire’.
Other facilities include the 9 hole Academy course, perfect for practising your game, a pitch and putt course and a new driving range which is due to open in 2011. A friendly bar with an outdoor seating area serving food and drinks provides the perfect place to relax.
